LEGION RIDERS

We are the American Legion Riders, Florida, Chapter 117 of The American Legion, Charles F. Thomas IV, Post 117, 189 Veterans Drive, Palm Bay, Florida, 32909.

The American Legion Riders are not an M/C and do not practice M/C rules or regulations. The American Legion Riders is family-oriented, just as its parent organization: The American Legion.

To participate in parades and other ceremonies that are in keeping with the aims and purposes of the American Legion.
To promote motorcycle safety programs and to provide a social atmosphere for American Legion members who share the same interest.
To use our association to promote and support programs of the American Legion.

To enhance motorcycle safety.

The preamble to our constitution is our oath:

For God and Country, we associate ourselves together for the following purposes: To demonstrate the principles of responsible motorcycling as set forth in the Rider’s Response: “We, your American Legion Riders, Ride for God and Country, The American Legion Family, and Allied Veterans everywhere, and always, protect those that protect us. Amen”. To serve as examples of responsible American Patriotism; to uphold and defend the Constitution of The United States of America; to serve our comrades as set forth in the Preamble to The Constitution of The American Legion.
